Do I need a credit card to start the free plan?
No. Sign up with your email address and start practising immediately — no payment details required. You only need to add payment when you upgrade to Individual or Company.
How does the free plan work?
On the Free plan you get 20 text and 3 voice practice sessions in total on your account (each session is one generated case plus conversation). Voice sessions are capped at 3 minutes. The allowance does not reset monthly. No credit card is required. When you need unlimited text and 10 voice sessions per month, subscribe to Individual or Company from this page or your profile.
Can I use KallosSim as evidence for my CPLD portfolio?
Yes. Professional plan subscribers can export a full JSON record of their sessions, reflection scores, and AI-cited evidence references under GDPR Art. 20. Many practitioners use this to document skill development for CPD logs, ASYE evidence, and management supervision.
Is this compliant with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018?
Yes. KallosSim is designed with GDPR compliance from the ground up — pseudonymised storage, 30-day auto-deletion of conversation excerpts, Art. 15 access rights, and Art. 17 erasure. Organisation plan customers receive a formal Data Processing Agreement (DPA). See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Is the AI trained on real case data?
No. KallosSim uses foundation AI models (OpenAI) with zero-data-retention API settings — conversation content is never used to train AI models. The personas and scenarios are fictional constructs written by practitioners and researchers, grounded in UK legislative frameworks.
How does the Company (5 seats) plan work?
The team lead subscribes via Stripe, then invites up to four colleagues from Org Admin → Members. The platform enforces the five-seat limit when invites are accepted. All five users get unlimited practice sessions and team analytics.
We need more than five seats — what should we do?
Choose Larger organisation and contact us for a quote. We will agree seat count, DPA, and onboarding with your DPO or training lead.
Can I cancel or downgrade at any time?
Yes. You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time through the in-app billing portal. On cancellation, you keep access until the end of your paid billing period, then move to the Free plan.
Do you offer discounts for charities or small teams?
We are committed to making this accessible to small teams and third-sector organisations. Please email us — we handle these on a case-by-case basis.
